2024 Page by Page President, Christopher Page

My Mission

At 9 years old, I loved books and hoped all children could enjoy the dreams and journeys books provide.  I joined Page by Page to make a difference in the lives of thousands around the world.  After 63 book drives, numerous speeches about literacy, and boxing up tens of thousands of books, I look forward to creative solutions to innovate Page by Page within the literacy world.  As the new President, I am honored by the world wide support to making a difference!

Our History

Founded in 2014, Page by Page National Book Drive Program has been working tirelessly to help children in need for over 10 years. We have helped over 3.73 million children around the world and hope to continue making a positive impact in their lives.

Our Team

Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the world. From our volunteers to our board members, everyone at Page by Page National Book Drive Program is committed to our mission and the children we serve around the world.

During our past 10 years, we have distributed over 714,312 books, worth $3,557,115, to over 3.73 million kids!!!   We have made the difference Page by Page set out to accomplish.  Great job!

    Covid Pandemic

Our goal was to organize and collect books from schools, organizations, and communities to donate to people without resources so they may possess their own books.  During this tragic time, we continued to collect and deliver to the neediest members of our community that have been impacted most by the pandemic and its economic implications.  Branches Miami, Breakthrough Miami, Achieve Miami, Camillus House, and United Way Miami received a combination of 35,000 books at this challenging time to distribute to their children sitting home while school was solely online.  This was our attempt to bridge the gap for what we expected would be an education problem in the future.

    Top Donators

We have a number of donations from incredibly generous people with incredibly kind hearts.  Our top donations come from Pinecrest Elementary, Palmetto Elementary, Snapper Creek Elementary, Sunset Elementary, Carrollton School of the Scared Heart, Gulliver Academy, and Ransom Everglades Middle and Upper School.   Incredibly dedicated and generous children give each year!

    OUR COMMUNITY AWARD WINNERS 2013-2016

    2013 Teach for America

    2013 Teach for America

    2013 Teach for America

Teach for America was our first donation from our book drive in 2013 when Lauren was in 2nd grade.  Upon approaching her principal, Lauren organized her first book drive and raised awareness of the importance of child literacy.  This initial event raised approximately 513 books but it was only the beginning!  Our books went directly into the hands of children around the community and the nation.

    2014 Teach for America

    2013 Teach for America

    2013 Teach for America

The second year of Page by Page, Lauren had higher aspirations.  Her school was familiar with the book drive and her friends were excited to contribute.  With this momentum, Page by Page raised over 2,541 books in our second year that went directly to Teach for America.

    2015 Teach for America

    2013 Teach for America

The third year of Page by Page, our book drive truly started to blossom.  The children were competitively donating and wanted to beat their friends with the amount of books they donated.  Classrooms started to become competitive and the lesson of giving.   We tripled our in take of donations this year and our entire inventory went to Teach for America's children to assist in teaching their children to read.

    2016 Achieve Miami

    2016 Camillus House

Achieve Miami became our main organization we chose to support.   Their objectives and dedication to the enrichment of literacy was unyielding. Supporting Achieve Miami through our donations of books for their Saturday Academy has been a primary focus for us from our inception to the present day.

    2016 Camillus House

    2016 Camillus House

Camillus House was nominated to receive all of the adult books we have received over the years.  Many of the clients who come to Camillus House have nowhere else to go. They have no friends, no family, and no loved ones to help them. Camillus House becomes their family, giving them the hope and support they need to begin the long, difficult transition to a new life and self-sufficiency.
Camillus House and Camillus Health programs and activities are accessible to and usable by disabled persons, including persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or who have other sensory impairments. A full range of assistive and communication aid are available free of charge to assist any disable persons.

Families throughout the community hear about our organization and lend a helping hand all the time.  Dropping off books, donating to our cause, or helping deliver and box the books are only some of the sweaty, hard working jobs our volunteers love to volunteer their time.  Carrying heavy boxes of books to deliver or gather takes a strong will in the middle of the Florida heat, but we persist with our mission.
